Welcome

Welcome to Choosesustainable.org, a blog about individual climate action.

What can we do to reduce our environmental footprint? Sometime we only focus on emissions, but the climate crisis goes beyond that. It involves deforestation and loss of biodiversity as well as plastic pollution of oceans and destruction of natural resources. I think there are many actions we can take every day to mitigate our impact on the environment, but we need to think about the global repercussions of our choices and start acting.

Subscribe to this blog and make your voice heard by signing actions and petitions. You will never receive spams or ads, only automated notifications of posts, if you select that option.

Check the posts in the categories. We talk about how to be more sustainable in our home, garden, food, fashion, shopping, and more. We also share vegetarian recipes to help us free ourselves from meat dependence.

Stop deforestation! Do you know that meat is one of the biggest drivers of deforestation?

Agriculture is the biggest cause of deforestation and loss of biodiversity. We need to change our eating habit to save the planet. Most of the agricultural devastation is linked to the meat industry and monocultures of foreign species, such as palm oil. All these products end up in our homes.

Don’t be a passive agent of destruction!

The App was developed by myself in my free time and provides information and suggestions on how to be more sustainable. It has a list of products and several links that are useful to have as reference when outside shopping.
